Sunday Fun...
At work again on a Sunday...working on some remaining issues from last week. Found a live Ani D album on Rhapsody so chilling to that a little bit.
Yesterday was filled with strategy and conquest. I spent a few solid hours defining my goals and strategy for Civ IV. I got a little tired of getting my ass kicked by the Barbarians each time I started going on my nice civilization. What pissed me off the most was that I'd be racing to research things and then all of a sudden these Barbarians would show up with more advanced weapons than I had! Grr... so after a lot of research and strategizing I stumbled across a few posts that indicated the level I was playing on (Marathon) was buggy and the Barbarians are just way too hard. So that solves that. In any case, I have some really good strategy now and will kick some serious ass later today hopefully.

I used to love Civ I and II...then Activision came out with the disaster known as Civilization: Call to Power. Only played Civ III a few times, but I hear Civ IV is pretty intense.
I can definitely sympathize on the barbarian issue.
Yes...curse them they stunt growth!
